Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park (Khao Wang), Phetchaburi

An ancient historical site that is a symbol of Phetchaburi, Phra Nakhon Khiri served as a summer palace built during the reign of King Mongkut (Rama IV). The park is located on three hilltops. The central peak houses Phra That Chom Phet, while the eastern side features Wat Maha Samanaram. On the western side, visitors can explore various structures including Santhakarn Sathan Throne Hall, Phra Nakhon Khiri National Museum, Wetchayan Wichian Prasat Throne Hall, Ratchatham Sapa Throne Hall, and Chatchawan Wiang Chai Pavilion. Visitors can access the park either by walking up the hill or taking the electric tram (round-trip tickets available).
