Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, commonly known as "Wat Yai" (The Big Temple), is a first-class royal temple of the Woramahawihan type. It houses the "Phra Buddha Chinnarat," a Sukhothai-style Buddha image in the Mara Vichaya posture, which is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of Buddhist art in Thailand.
