Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh

Wat Phnom is located in the heart of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on Phnom Hill, which is about 76 meters high.

Getting there:
🚶 Walk from the city center, near the Royal Palace, about 30 minutes
🛺 Take a tuk-tuk, about 10 minutes
🏍️ Rent a motorbike, about 15 minutes

Wat Phnom is one of the oldest and most important temples in Cambodia. Built in 1373, it houses many sacred Buddha images.
The temple grounds include the Phnom Pagoda, 76 meters high, standing out majestically, 5 large Buddha images enshrined in the chapel on top of the hill, and a beautiful, shady garden surrounding the temple.

Anyone who comes is advised to dress politely, take off your shoes before entering the temple, and maintain peace and order.
