Let's go through the gate of time to enter Ayutthaya at Wat Phra Ngam.

Wat Phra Ngam, Khlong Srabue, is located in Khlong Srabue Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. It is a beautiful abandoned temple because it has an ancient gate surrounded by Bodhi trees for more than 100 years. This place has been called the Gate of Time for a long time.

Inside Wat Phra Ngam, there is an octagonal pagoda as the main building. There is a glass wall and a moat surrounding the temple. Various buildings inside the temple show traces of restoration and renovation more than once. Wat Phra Ngam has no evidence of its origins in historical documents. However, from archaeological studies, this temple was likely built since the early Ayutthaya period and was abandoned when the capital was lost for the second time in 2310.
