Let's worship the big Buddha at Wat Intharam, Ayutthaya

"Wat Intharam" is located in Hua Ro Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The locals call it "Wat In".

It was built during the Ayutthaya period. It is assumed that Somdet Phra Intharacha or Somdet Phra Nakhon Indra Thirat was the builder. However, since there is clear evidence, the estimated year of the temple's construction as a basis for study and research is around 2310 B.E.

The principal Buddha image in the ordination hall is called "Luang Pho To". It is a stucco Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya (Mara-Vijaya) or Mara-Chana or Mara-Sadung posture. It is a Buddha image in a sitting cross-legged position.
