This trip, we had the opportunity to visit the ancient capital of Ayutthaya. A must-see is to visit the sacred relics and admire the beauty of Wat Yai Chai Mongkol Worawihan, one of the most important temples in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province with a long history. You'll also be able to admire the magnificent architecture, particularly the Phra Chedi Chai Mongkol, a large bell-shaped chedi that can be reached by climbing a flight of stairs. The magnificent Buddha image is also a truly remarkable sight. Inside the temple is the magnificent Vihara of the Reclining Buddha (Sleeping Buddha), a large and exquisite reclining Buddha image. It's a popular place to pay homage and apply gold leaf to bring good fortune. The surrounding area is also dotted with numerous chedis, a testament to its former glory.
