Now, Day 2

Breakfast at the Sukhothai Hotel - Travel to Ayutthaya - Buy snacks - Lunch/dinner at a restaurant along the Chao Phraya River - Check in at the hotel - Ayutthaya Sunset Boat - Return home - Have a beer while lounging in the bathtub!!

Snack Recommendation: When you come to Ayutthaya, you must buy and try "Roti Sai Mai." They're sold everywhere. It's a traditional Thai snack made with thin pancakes(?) wrapped in sweet thread.

Restaurants: There are numerous restaurants along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Choose one with a high Google rating.

Boat Tour: Unlike the usual tour boats that take you from Bangkok, if you're traveling independently like us, you'll need to book your own boat. Some offer dinner boats, while others, like ours, offer a cheap one-hour cruise.

Boat prices are per boat, not per person, so the more people you have, the better. ^^ Each boat costs 800 baht.

We left around 6 a.m., so we were able to enjoy the sunset from the viewpoint!
