๐Ayutthaya
First of all, Ayutthaya was the second capital built around 1350, but it was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century, and now you can catch a glimpse of its past splendor through the ruins consisting of castles and large monasteries.
You have to pay an entrance fee for each temple in Ayutthaya, so we only entered the representative temples, Maha That Temple and Wat Phra Si San Phet. Maha That Temple is famous for its Buddha heads stuck in a tree, and Wat Phra Si San Phet is famous for its three towers lined up in a row.
