Ayutthaya Historical Park

I visited Ayutthaya, a World Heritage Site easily accessible from Bangkok by train or tour!
The vast ruins area is dotted with red-brick pagodas and temples, making it feel like I've traveled back in time to Thailand's past.
The most famous sight is the Buddha head encased in tree roots at Wat Mahathat! It's mystical in person and even more impressive than photos suggest. 🙏✨
The large pagoda at Wat Phra Si Sanphet and the gigantic reclining Buddha at Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon are also well worth seeing.
The ruins are so vast, I recommend getting around by bicycle or tuk-tuk. The sun is strong, so a hat and sunscreen are essential. ☀️
Ayutthaya offers a immersive experience of history and photogenic scenery. It was the perfect day trip from Bangkok. #AyutthayaRuins #ThailandTourism #PhotogenicSpot
