1 Day trip Ayutthaya, take the train from Bangkok for 1 hour, chill out.

For a day trip to Ayutthaya, I took train number 71 from Don Mueang Station at 10:50 a.m. The relaxed atmosphere on the train was perfect for enjoying the scenery as the city slowly transitions from the capital to the lush countryside.

Arriving at Ayutthaya Station around 1 p.m., I headed straight to Sonny Café, a minimalist-style café with a warm atmosphere. I sipped iced coffee and dessert before continuing my journey.

Then, I walked to Wat Ratchaburana, an ancient temple with a towering prang and beautiful architecture, perfect for taking photos and experiencing history.

Afterward, I crossed the street to Busaba Café, a beautiful café offering a variety of coffee and desserts. I enjoyed relaxing and taking photos before lunch.

For lunch today, I chose Krua Pak Wan Halal, a Michelin-starred Pak Wan salad restaurant. The salad was rich in flavor and the sweet, fresh, crunchy vegetables were incredibly delicious.

Next, for dessert, I went to Roti Sai Mai Halal, a Michelin-starred roti sai mai restaurant. The roti was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the sweet, smooth, and creamy floss was incredibly satisfying.

Before returning to Bangkok, I took a Grab ride to the Ayutthaya minibus station. To catch the evening bus back, this trip was filled with food, cafes, and history. It was a truly memorable trip.
