Wat Ratchaburana, an almost 600-year-old temple in Ayutthaya

#BeautifulTempleCoordinates "Wat Ratchaburana" is one of the oldest temples in Ayutthaya Province. The sign says it was built in 1967, which means this year marks the 599th anniversary. Next year, in 2567, it will be the 600th anniversary. We think that there will definitely be a grand event.

This temple is located opposite the row of shophouses full of cafes. The highlight is the entrance wall, which is like an orange brick arch. When you walk in, there will be a pagoda standing tall behind it. We can go up and visit this pagoda. The inside is a bit narrow, with dim lighting. Looking down, you will see a small view of this area.

💰 Entrance fee: 10 baht for Thais.

Note: Please dress appropriately. Tank tops and crop tops are not allowed.❌
