Wat PhananCheng is a temple that is highly respected by both Thais and Chinese people, including foreigners of Chinese descent who like to come and pay homage.

LuangPhoTo, or Thai-Chinese people call him Sampokong. During the Chinese New Year or New Year festival, people like to come and pay homage for good fortune and prosperity in business.

Inside the temple, there is Thao Wessuwan, who is popularly worshipped for good fortune and safety. At the Chinese shrine, there is also the Goddess Soi Dok Mak, who is popularly worshipped for children and love. Inside the shrine, there is the God Chai Sing Yea, who is popularly worshipped for good fortune and good luck throughout the year.
