Phuket | visit the incredible big buddha

I have recently visited Phuket and realized it is indeed an island that is more than just beautiful beaches! One of the most incredible spots is the Big Buddha. Not only can we learn more about the religion of Thai people, it is also an amazing viewpoint that no one told us about!

We have already noticed the Big Buddha on the way as it is located on top of the mountain. It looks so huge from afar. You will need to climb some stairs before you get close to the buddha itself. The architecture is stunning and you can see the attention to details. As we climb to the top, the view here is so scenic overlooking the islands and seaside, just like a viewpoint!

Make sure you do NOT wear sleeveless clothes and short pants when you visit the Big Buddha because it is considered impolite for Buddhist. It is really an important point to note! As we did not know before we go, we need to get the sarong (150 baht) outside of the entrance to cover the knees and wear long sleeves jacket. If you wear sleeveless but do not have a jacket with you, you will need to get the scarf (100 baht) to cover your shoulder too.
