Beautiful views from Big Buddha in Phuket

It’s my favorite viewing point in Phuket. Beautiful views open from the 400-meter hill, where one of the largest Buddha statues in Thailand is located.

The Buddha statue depicts Gautama in a sitting position and is 45 metres (148 feet) tall and 25.45 metres (83.5 feet) wide.

Tips for visiting: you can walk up to the statue from the sea, but take plenty of water with you - the path is long and difficult. Or just take a taxi.
