Phuket's Chalong Temple is located in Chalong Bay in the south of Phuket Island and is the largest Buddhist temple on the island. Although the entire Chalong Temple is not very large, it has two temples and a pagoda for enshrining relics. The pagoda is very gorgeous, and the observation deck on the third floor offers a panoramic view of the entire temple. Wat Chalong is well-known in Phuket and is said to be very effective and respected by local residents. You are not allowed to wear shoes inside the temple, and do not wear shorts, skirts or off-shoulder clothes.
