Phuket Must-Visit Attractions - Big Buddha and Chalong Temple Half-Day Tour

Phuket's Big Buddha and Chalong Temple are major attractions on the island, located in the Kata area. Although there is no charge for entering the temple to worship, it is important to dress respectfully; sleeveless tops and shorts are not allowed unless they reach the knees, otherwise entry is denied. The Big Buddha is on the highest hill on the island and can be seen from afar. There is no public transportation available, so if you're not on a tour or driving yourself, taking a taxi is not expensive. The view of the coast and the flat houses from a distance is beautiful and refreshing. Walking around the Big Buddha takes just over an hour.
