Hengchun Township, Pingtung | The southernmost point of Taiwan

The southernmost point of Taiwan, as the name suggests, refers to the southernmost location of Taiwan Island. It is located in the southern part of Eluan Village, Hengchun Township, Pingtung County, which is also the southeastern border of Kenting National Park.
There is a "Taiwan Southernmost Point Sign" here, which is a cement signpost with a pointed top shaped like a bamboo shoot pointing toward the sky. It just happens to have sea views on three sides, and you can enjoy the beautiful ocean views of the Bashi Channel and the Pacific Ocean in the east, south, and west! On the way to the southernmost point of Taiwan, you will pass by the Kenting Weather Radar Station of the Central Weather Bureau. The big green football ⚽️ logo is also very eye-catching!
