Our stay at Avilion Port Dickson was the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. Nestled along the coast, this charming resort offers a unique experience with its water chalets that hover gracefully over the Straits of Malacca. From the moment we arrived, the warm and attentive service made us feel instantly welcome.
📍 Itinerary & Sightseeing:
While most come for the famous Port Dickson beaches, staying at Avilion gave us more than just a beach holiday. We enjoyed the resort’s beautiful garden walkways, its private beach, and even ventured out for a nature walk along the coastline. The aviary on the property was a pleasant surprise, offering an up-close look at exotic birds.
🚇 Transportation:
We chose to drive from Kuala Lumpur, and it took just over an hour to reach Avilion. Driving made it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Army Museum and Cape Rachado Lighthouse during our stay.
📷 Photo Spots:
The resort itself is filled with picture-perfect spots. The infinity pool overlooking the sea, the wooden walkways of the water chalets, and the breathtaking sunsets from the balcony of our chalet provided endless opportunities for capturing stunning photos. The resort’s spa pavilion surrounded by nature was another highlight.
🍜 Local Cuisine:
Dining at Avilion was a treat. We indulged in local Malaysian delights like nasi lemak and satay at the resort’s restaurant, and even had a seafood feast at a nearby restaurant along the coast. The food was fresh and flavorful, offering a true taste of local cuisine.
💡 Tips:
	•	Book a water chalet for the best sea views and a more private experience.
	•	Don’t miss the aviary and petting zoo at the resort, which are fun for families and animal lovers.
	•	Make sure to enjoy the sunset from the balcony—it’s one of the most beautiful views you’ll get in Port Dickson.
