Mount Kailash Spiritual Trekking

Few places on Earth hold as much spiritual weight as Mount Kailash in Tibet. Known as the “Center of the Universe,” this perfectly symmetrical, snow-capped peak is sacred to Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon practitioners alike.
🕉 Hinduism: Believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva
☸️ Buddhism: Associated with the legendary Mount Meru
✡ Jainism: Site where the first Tirthankara attained liberation
🌄 Bon: The axis mundi, linking heaven and earth
What makes Kailash even more extraordinary is that it remains unclimbed—out of reverence and respect. Instead, pilgrims perform the kora (circumambulation) around the mountain, a journey of nearly 52 km at altitudes above 5,000 meters. Completing even one kora is said to cleanse a lifetime of sins.
💡 Pro Tip: The best time to visit is from May to September, when the weather allows safer passage. Go slow, acclimatize properly, and let the sacred atmosphere guide your steps.
Would you trek the kora or admire Kailash from afar?
