I prefer the lesser-known attractions in Putian to Quanzhou. They are fun and delicious.

๐ŸŒˆ I haven't taken my kids to visit my hometown properly. During the holiday, I took them to eat delicious food, visit parks, and see exhibitions to learn about the history and folk culture of my hometown.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Itinerary: Xiaotang Market - Shouxi Park - Putian Museum
๐Ÿ“ Xiaotang Market
You can have breakfast at Xiaotang Market, try the local food, and feel the lively atmosphere. I recommend Guobianhu, pan-fried buns, and soy milk fried rice noodles.
๐Ÿ“ Shouxi Park
After breakfast, you can take your kids to the park. The park is large and has boats. Many people come here to camp and play when the weather is nice.
๐Ÿ“ Putian Museum
It is next to Shouxi Park, so you can visit both.
๐ŸŽซ Tickets: Free, no reservation required
The museum houses a large collection of historical artifacts and artworks, and you can learn about the history and folk culture of Putian. There is also a bookstore on the 4th floor where you can read and study.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Food recommendations
โœ… Xiaotang Market: Red dumplings, oil tongues, fried taro cakes, and pan-fried buns.
โœ… Achang Soy Milk Fried Rice Noodles: A serving of soy milk fried rice noodles and a bowl of soy milk with pickled mustard and peanuts. The more you eat, the more delicious it is.
โœ… Longqiao Wonton: Next to Achang Soy Milk, noodles with sauce and mixed soup. The mixed soup is delicious with plenty of ingredients, and the pig liver is sweet, sour, crispy, and tender.
โœ… Pusang Taste Putian Cuisine: Near the museum, you can have Putian cuisine for lunch. The food here is good, with generous portions and fresh ingredients.
