Culinary Journey @ Shangri-La Putian

When I returned to Putian Shangri-La, I was once again deeply attracted by the overall atmosphere here. First of all, it has an impeccable location, situated on the banks of the 2,200-acre Shouxi Park, which gives it an abundance of negative oxygen ions. The air around is filled with natural freshness and tranquility, allowing me to instantly forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel's design is inspired by iconic local elements such as "imperial examination culture," "Licheng water town," and "traditional tea art." Through ingenious modern space design, these elements appear in every place I pass by, such as the tea bag background wall in the lobby bar and the Baijia bowl wall in Xiangle Garden Chinese Restaurant. Every detail reveals respect and inheritance of Putian culture.

However, the essence of Putian Shangri-La is still their "Zhuoxi Hot Spring Pavilion." Inside the hot spring pavilion, there are small hot springs every three steps and large hot springs every five steps. Each hot spring pool has a different style, providing a unique hot spring experience. Unfortunately, during this trip, the "Wild Creek Hot Spring" on the first floor, made of natural stones, was temporarily closed due to cold weather. However, the "Rock Hot Spring" and "Wood Hot Spring" (featuring four themes: "tea bath," "wine bath," "flower bath," and "herbal bath") on the left and right sides, as well as the nine private hot spring rooms, aromatherapy rooms, and foot massage rooms on the second floor, were all open. After soaking in the hot springs, I certainly wouldn't miss the delicious food at Zhuoxi Banquet Restaurant. The professional chef team in the open kitchen carefully prepared a variety of local specialties and some home-style health dishes, leaving me with endless aftertaste.

In addition to the delicious food at Zhuoxi Banquet Restaurant, Xiangle Garden Chinese Restaurant is also a foodie's paradise. Here, exquisite Cantonese cuisine and traditional Fujian cuisine are expertly prepared by the chef. There are also innovative pre-dinner cold dishes to awaken diners' taste buds, which are truly excellent!

As the first hot spring hotel created by the Shangri-La Group and the third hotel in Fujian Province after Fuzhou and Xiamen, Putian Shangri-La truly integrates local culture with modern design. It allows me to experience a city hot spring micro-vacation while also having a cultural exploration experience. I look forward to our next meeting, where I can discover more interesting aspects of Putian Shangri-La!
