Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach: Where the Sea Meets Fortune

For my last stop in Qingdao, I chose to stay at the Hilton Golden Beach. I felt like I almost got a free night, spending only 15,000 points to book and getting upgraded to an Executive Suite. The lounge offered afternoon tea, and when the lounge was open for happy hour, they directly offered a Western-style buffet dinner at the restaurant! Doesn't that almost equal a free stay?
The hotel is designed in the style of a European castle, grand in scale, with a magnificent lobby. The golden money tree in the middle is very eye-catching, symbolizing wealth coming from all directions. The concierge service is also top-notch.
The suite I stayed in was on the hotel's highest floor, the 11th floor. It seemed to be a hidden room type different from ordinary Executive Suites, with a balcony overlooking the entire hotel and a distant sea view. To the right of the entrance is a wardrobe and a guest bathroom. However, the guest bathroom has been renovated, removing the toilet and adding a washer-dryer, which was very timely for me, as I had accumulated a lot of winter clothes to wash.
The living room is very spacious and has a kitchen bar with an induction cooker, range hood, and even a rice cooker. The coffee machine is a Dolce Gusto, and the tea bags are from Cha Li. The complimentary water is still the Laoshan mineral water that has dominated since entering Qingdao. The welcome fruit was very generous, a large fruit platter with 10 kinds of fruit. It's been a long time since I've encountered such a great spread. Is this the kind of treatment a points spender can enjoy?
The desk is placed by the window. Due to the shape of the building, the living room windows are relatively small, and the location on the top floor of the "castle" also gives the room's ceiling some special lines.
Entering the bedroom, there is a separate walk-in closet. The bedroom has a bed end stool and a separate dressing table. The bedding is also quite comfortable. The overall maintenance of the room is good. Although it opened in the same year as the Banyan Tree, it looks much newer.
The master bathroom has a double vanity with plants and a spacious shower.
Overall, the view is very good, the area is large enough, and I am very satisfied with the washing machine. All kinds of benefits are maxed out. I estimate that the hotel lost money on my stay, so how can I not continue to maintain my Diamond status?
