If you only have one day in Qingdao, it is recommended to follow this exact route.

Morning: Zhanqiao Pier — Bu She Zhou Ye Café — Xiaoqingdao Park — First Bathing Beach — No. 5 Old Western-style House

Afternoon: Yanerdao Park — Xiaomai Island Park — Qingdao Shazikou

1. Zhanqiao Pier
To photograph Zhanqiao Pier, don’t just shoot the pier itself. The view of the pier partially hidden like a pipa (Chinese lute) is far more captivating than close-up shots taken from the pier. Navigate to "Li Weinong Park" and find two pine trees by the sea to use as foreground; this can create a god’s-eye perspective.

2. Bu She Zhou Ye Café
An old Western-style house wrapped in vines, just quietly standing there sparks endless imagination. No wonder it was the filming location for Lu Han’s music video; it’s easy to capture a nostalgic vibe here.

3. Xiaoqingdao Park
The best place in Qingdao to photograph the sea, famous for the dragon cypress tree that looks like a kindly old grandmother with a perm. From afar, you can see Qingdao Station, giving a cinematic urban feel.

4. First Bathing Beach
There is a heart-shaped tree here, giving off a playful romantic vibe. If you want to shoot scenes like a romantic drama, this is the perfect spot to check in.

5. No. 5 Old Western-style House
The red roof radiates a passionate atmosphere, as if you’ve traveled to Europe. Want to be the little princess in a fairy tale? Don’t miss this place.

6. Yanerdao Park
Rocks, waves, wooden boardwalks, and poppies swaying in the breeze easily sketch a youthful and vibrant scene. It’s a great setting for a pure campus love story.

7. Xiaomai Island Park
There are five popular trees here. The best suggestion is to use two of them as foreground elements and shoot upward toward the sky to create a mysterious futuristic feel.

8. Qingdao Shazikou
Qingdao’s own Santorini, with layers of red roofs that glow golden at sunset, making it easy to capture heartwarming cinematic shots.
