Located at the Qingdao Railway Station, the Jiaozhou Railway Qingdao Museum offers free admission. You must present your ID card to enter (if you don’t have one, registration is required at the entrance).

🖼 The museum isn’t large and spans two floors. A full visit takes about 1.5 hours. Guided directions are provided after entering. There are five exhibition halls, each showcasing different historical periods and cultural stories of the Jiaozhou Railway. Exhibits include the history and development of the railway, historical artifacts, high-speed rail components, and immersive experiences like high-speed train simulators and VR theaters (high-speed train simulator has an additional fee). Kids who love trains will especially enjoy pretending to be a high-speed train driver!

If you’re passing through the area near Zhanqiao Pier, it’s absolutely worth a stop. The first-floor service area even has a free stamp collection zone and creative cultural souvenirs.
