Human Landscape Check-in Spots: Xujiahui Catholic Church and Xujiahui Academy

The Xujiahui Catholic Church, a French Gothic-style building with over a century of history, exudes solemnity and romance both day and night. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I couldn't visit the interior of the church, which was a bit disappointing. Adjacent to the church on the right is the Xujiahui Academy. Upon entering the academy, you'll be greeted by a three-meter-high atrium, a basilica-style dome, a 16-meter-long reading table, and the artistically decorated Guangqi Gate archway, which is truly eye-catching. Additionally, the academy features eight uniquely designed spaces showcasing books to cater to the diverse needs of readers. From the terrace of the academy, you can also enjoy a view of the church.
