Exploring Culinary Delights at Qingshui Station: Unlocking Taiwan's Hidden Gems

This time, I visited Qingshui Station. Although it's an off-the-beaten-path area, it hides many culinary treasures.

Chiayi Chicken Rice

First, I tasted the chicken rice from Chiayi. The dish features tender chicken perfectly combined with fragrant rice. The chicken is marinated and full of flavor, paired with a special sauce that makes every bite rich and delicious. The rice absorbs the essence of the meat juices, making it irresistible.

Tube Rice Pudding

Next, I tried the tube rice pudding. This traditional snack is made by steaming rice batter, resulting in a smooth texture. It's served with toppings like mushrooms and shredded pork, giving it a unique flavor. Each bite exudes the aroma of rice, allowing one to experience the local culture deeply.

The Fun of the Windmill

Near Qingshui Station, I also saw the famous windmill. This landmark not only attracts many tourists for photos but also became a beautiful backdrop for my journey. The windmill turns with the breeze, as if telling me the story of this land.

During my exploration at Qingshui Station, I tasted authentic local food and felt the warmth and culture of the area. This trip gave me a deeper understanding of Taiwanese cuisine and left me with wonderful memories.
