The Foremost Confucian Temple in Southeast China | Quanzhou Prefectural Confucian Temple

Located in Licheng District, Quanzhou City, the Quanzhou Prefectural Confucian Temple is a national key cultural relics protection unit. First built in the late Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, it integrates architectural styles from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, boasting grand scale and magnificent halls. The main structure, Dacheng Hall, features a simple and elegant style, while the temple houses abundant cultural relics with multiple exhibition halls, carrying profound historical and cultural significance. This visit coincided with Labor Day, so the Pan Bridge was unfortunately closed, which was a slight disappointment.
