Free Quzhou Museum: Home to Three Treasures

Quzhou, Zhejiang, is the second home of Confucius' descendants and is known as the "Southeast Qufu, Southern Confucius Holy Land." The Southern Confucius Ancestral Temple is one of only two Confucius temples in China. When visiting Quzhou, be sure to visit the Quzhou Museum after visiting the Southern Confucius Ancestral Temple.

The museum displays 6,000 years of Quzhou history, from the Neolithic Age to the modern era. Exhibits include pottery, bronze, porcelain, and paintings, allowing you to experience the weight of history. The museum is home to three treasures that you won't want to miss!

👑 Museum Treasures:
1️⃣ Southern Song Dynasty Jade Rabbit Paperweight: Made using round and relief carving techniques, the paperweight uses strong intaglio lines to depict the rabbit's eyes, ears, legs, and tail, fully expressing the rabbit's relaxed and leisurely demeanor. It is a masterpiece of craftsmanship.
2️⃣ Lixian Jiangshan Dragon Dinosaur Fossil: Displays the majestic posture of a dinosaur, providing a valuable opportunity to learn about ancient creatures and the history of the Earth.
3️⃣ Southern Song Dynasty Golden Doll: A gold artifact from the Southern Song Dynasty, 2 cm long and weighing 6 g, depicting a naked child (golden doll) in a crawling position, holding a ring in the right hand and a lotus branch in the left hand, with the left hand behind the back. The doll gazes upward with a vivid expression. In the Song Dynasty, the golden doll was regarded as a mascot called "Mahoraga."
