🙏The shrine of King Taksin the Great is located inside Wat Lum Mahachai Chumphon, Taksin Road, Tambon Tha Pradu, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province. It was first built in 1934. The person who built it was Nang Thongpan Phusuwan, who was the wife of the head of the postal and telegraph office at that time. Because Nang Thongpan dreamed that King Taksin the Great came to see him and said that he had no place to stay, Nang Thongpan consulted with the abbot of Wat Lum Mahachai Chumphon. He recommended building this shrine. At first, it was just a small one-story wooden house with a statue of King Taksin the Great in a standing position inside.
