Trekking on the Flower Island: Summer in Rebun

I went trekking during the best season of summer on Rebun Island! Just like its nickname "Flower Island," delicate alpine flowers were blooming everywhere.
These weren't flashy flowers like roses, but rather the charming and natural blooms unique to alpine plants. The weather was fantastic, and the sea looked stunning. Especially at Cape Sukoton, the contrast between the blue sea and the green landscape was breathtaking.
Additionally, the view of Rishiri Fuji from Rebun Island was incredibly beautiful. It takes about two hours by ferry from Wakkanai Port to reach Rebun Island. Many visitors pair their trip to Rebun Island with Rishiri Island, but if you have to choose one, I highly recommend Rebun Island. Staying overnight is also a great option.
I stayed on Rebun Island for two nights. Since the summer peak season can get crowded, make sure to book early.
