Smell the air filled with the scent of money

🍶 Don’t miss Maotai Town when you visit Guizhou, it’s truly beautiful!
🚘 Transportation:
First, take the high-speed train to Zunyi Station. After getting off, transfer to a tourist bus for about an hour and a half. When you start to smell a sweet yet fermented aroma in the air—that’s the legendary Maotai Town!

Day 1: Be a qualified “drunkard”
·☀️ Morning: Don’t rush to drink; first, wake up your mind at the China Wine Culture City. From Han Dynasty wine cups to modern brewing production lines, you’ll be amazed by what you see.
🍶 Afternoon: Stroll around the ancient distillery on Yangliu Street. If you’re lucky, you might see the masters barefoot treading the fermentation mash. Their dedication will instantly make your milk tea seem less appealing.
💡 Evening: You must go up to the viewing platform at the Maotai Tian Brewing Scenic Area! Wait until it’s completely dark, and the whole town lights up, with the Chishui River glowing like a shining ribbon.

Day 2: Eat and drink with culture
☀️ Morning: Take a photo with the broken Maotai bottle sculpture at 1915 Square and hear the dramatic story of how Maotai won a world gold award a hundred years ago by “breaking” the bottle.
🍜 Noon: It’s foodie time! Try the fermented rice jelly made with distiller’s grains, refreshing with a hint of wine aroma; then have a hot bowl of Maotai lamb noodles that will make your mouth water.
🪖 Afternoon: Walk along the Chishui River and visit the Red Army Long March Maotai Exhibition Hall to learn about how the Red Army used Maotai wine to disinfect and heal wounds, making the wine feel even more “sacred.”

In short, in Maotai Town, every breath you take might be worth a few bucks. This little town soaked in the aroma of wine will definitely give you an unforgettable “tipsy” memory.
