Rhodes Island in Greece is a shining pearl in the southeastern Aegean Sea. As the fourth largest island in Greece, it combines medieval cities, ancient Greek ruins and blue sea and sky. The Old Town of Rhodes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The well-preserved city walls and the Knights' Palace make you feel like traveling through time. It is recommended to visit in the early morning or evening to avoid the crowds and take pictures of the beautiful light and shadow of the medieval streets and the cathedral. The white houses and blue-domed churches of the town of Lindos are embedded between the cliffs. Climbing to the Acropolis ruins, you can overlook the heart-shaped beach. The ruins of the Temple of Athena on the top of the mountain are the best location for taking panoramic photos.
