When in Rome 🏛 : Gustav Klimt Exhibition

Palazzo Braschi is the Museo di Roma site that beside the permanent collection is hosting a Gustav Klimt exhibition with some masterpieces such as Judith I, The Bride and one of my favorite: Portrait of a Lady. This is actually a double portrait, in fact a study revealed an underpainting, another beautiful portrait of a woman wearing black with a hat; scanning a QR code and pointing your mobile camera at the painting, you’ll see the original canvas. One more curiosity: this piece was stolen in 1997 and fortunately recovered in 2019!
