Everyone who goes to Rome wants to visit the Spanish steps it seems. The steps climb a steep slope between the Piazza de España to the Piazza Trinita Dei Monti. and were completed in 1725. There are 135 steps to the top, but it’s well worth the effort for the view at the top. I recommend going early in the morning between 7 am and 8 am as at this time there are not many toys around and you can really enjoy the beautiful architecture
