Take the specialty train to the Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Museum, and you can reach it in a straight line after getting off at Sakaiko Station. The journey is not long but there are countless monster sculptures for photography along the way, you need to reserve time. There are also related shops to browse, even the sewer cover has a Gee Taro pattern. Even if you are not a die-hard fan, you can feel the atmosphere. The museum certainly has the characters of Kitaro's story, as well as the creative process of the manga artist.
