Visit GeGeGe no Kitaro's home at the Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Museum in Tottori.

As a fan of GeGeGe no Kitaro, a visit to the Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Museum in Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture, is a must. The museum is dedicated to the life and works of Shigeru Mizuki, the creator of Kitaro. It showcases original drawings, collections of spirits and yokai from around the world, including masks, decorations, and large murals.

However, the main attraction is Kitaro himself. From FRP decorations, manga manuscripts, to murals, familiar characters like Medama Oyaji, Nezumi Otoko, and Neko Musume bring back childhood memories, making it a delightful photo opportunity.

Advance tickets are ¥900, and same-day tickets are ¥1000. Besides the exhibitions, there is also a shop where fans can buy a wide range of Kitaro merchandise. It's truly a worthwhile visit.
