[Salerno🇮🇹] An elegant evening in a quiet town🌙

Along with Naples, Salerno is a base city for visiting the Amalfi Coast.
Many people visit Salerno as a beach resort in the summer, but in the winter it is quiet and peaceful, with no crowds!
Here is a plan for a night walk in Salerno!

① Stroll along the Salerno Coast 🚶♀️
A promenade along the coast where you can enjoy the ocean view during the day.
At night, it is lit up with lights, so you can take a walk in the evening while listening to the sound of the waves.

In the summer, the lights of the houses in the town of Amalfi are lit up, so you can enjoy the night view 🌃
It has a romantic atmosphere, so I hope you spend a relaxing time along the coast ☺️

② Salerno Cathedral (photos 4 & 5)
The cathedral is a 20-minute walk from the station.
It was built in the Romanesque style.
There are few lights in the surrounding area, but the subdued lighting makes it more tasteful and stylish.
There are benches nearby, so it is recommended to sit and talk with someone while looking at the cathedral!

Of course, it's nice to look around the inside during the day or have lunch at a nearby restaurant 🙆♀️

③ Old Town of Salerno (1st photo)

The old town is the most lively place in quiet Salerno at night.

The main street is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops.

It's a great place to look for souvenirs, and you can have a lot of fun just walking around and looking around the shops! !

④ To the local mart
There are a few, but there are a few small local supermarkets.

I recommend going to the market in the evening to get some food, sitting on a bench in Salerno at night, and having a relaxing chat with friends, family, or your partner 😉
