Summer in Sanya🌞

“Hawaii of China” seems like an accurate way to describe this little piece of paradise. Sanya is situated in Hainan Province, Southeast China making it the perfect year-round summer holiday destination. If I’m completely honest we didn’t do much when we visited, it was our first time there and we were just glad to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city life! I will share some of the things we did do in this blog post and hopefully soon I can share more when I visit again!

We stayed at a resort located in Dadonghai called Luhuitou Sanya Resort on trip.com but the real name is Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa so don’t be too surprised when you arrive thinking you might be at the wrong place! It is one of the pricier options to stay at because it is right on the beach, and it has loads of facilities to use including the best breakfast buffet ever. There are cheaper options in Sanya to stay at but during the August holiday it wasn’t too bad, and we also shared rooms which made it more affordable. We spent most of our time at the resort drinking cocktails by the pool, so the money was worth it!

That is most of what we did, I don’t even feel bad for not doing everything there is, lying by the pool drinking cocktails with my friends was good enough, probably the best holiday I’ve had with a group of friends, and I wouldn’t change anything! Sanya is one of those places where you can just relax all day and not feel guilty about it. Hope this very short description convinced you to put Sanya on your bucket list for your next holiday destination!
