The Sheraton Hotel at Yalong Bay Surprised Us

Many people come to Sanya in search of a good hotel, but first, you need to choose a resort. We visited Sanya, Dadonghai, and Yalong Bay. We liked Yalong Bay the most.

For our stay at Yalong Bay, we chose the Sheraton Hotel. In this bay, you will find many famous hotels from global brands, but don't rush to rejoice, as there are some nuances.

The Sheraton Hotel cost 8000₽ per night with breakfast, which is quite a strange price considering that this chain is usually much more expensive worldwide. There had to be a catch, and there was.

The hotel is very old, and judging by the condition and wear of the rooms, it seems it has never been renovated. Be prepared for the possibility of encountering mold in your room, as Hainan has incredibly high humidity, and nothing dries properly.

If you overlook the worn-out rooms and take a walk around the hotel grounds, it might not seem so bad. The grounds are beautiful, with many pools. The hotel's beach is good, and you can enjoy your time there. Overall, we liked the hotel because of its grounds, but it's very evident that it is old and just living out its days.
