Dadonghai Beach - Better than expected!

The beach is a few km long, very sandy, and it seemed pretty clean. I've seen worse in Bali & Thailand actually!
Shaded by palm trees at the edge, but no loungers or umbrellas to rent. People were there to either walk along or swim, not lie there all day.
There were 2 relatively smallish swimming areas surrounded by buoys and with lifeguards. But some people did go outside them.
Alongside the beach runs a walkway with bars and restaurants. Some looked run down, but a person we met said they think the authorities are trying to improve the area. But also, with no Russian tourists, visitor numbers are much lower, so maybe it's also an economic thing.
Even if you don't swim in the sea, enjoy a lovely walk on soft sand.
