This hotel in Chengdu is so photogenic, but no one talks about it!!

⭐Overall rating: 8/10

I once recorded a podcast titled "I must keep changing to feel alive," which also applies to my choice of hotels when traveling - "variety" is my No. 1 rule for deciding where to stay.
🌊
I came to Chengdu to visit a friend. The first hotel I stayed at had a private hot spring and courtyard, and was very rustic and natural. So, for the second day, I wanted something different and booked a dark-themed hotel with a huge bathtub.

As soon as I got out of the elevator, I was hit by a "futuristic" vibe, as if I had traveled back to the Aspera Hotel in Chongqing. The lobby is the hotel's highlight, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge transparent pool, a decorative robotic arm, and a simulated fireplace. The Christmas decorations have also been put up recently. Whether it's the lighting or the atmosphere, guests who want to take photos will be very satisfied. The stay also includes freshly ground coffee, so after checking in, you can take some photos in the lobby, relax, and enjoy a coffee.
🌊
Now, let's talk about the guest room. I stayed in the basic L1 room type, which is 30 square meters, and the bathtub alone takes up a lot of space. This is also a feature of the hotel, as all room types have a huge bathtub by the window (some L1 rooms have windows, but the one I stayed in didn't, although the ventilation system worked well).

The hardware configuration is also worth praising. Marshall speakers, fully intelligent toilets, capsule coffee machines, Laifen hair dryers, Appelles toiletries, bathrobes, gift bags, and safes - the hardware is impeccable. However, I always pay the most attention to the mini bar and mineral water configuration, as these details can reflect taste and leave a lasting impression. This hotel uses Bama Platinum Spring water from Guangxi, which is rich in minerals. The bottle has smooth lines and a simple, elegant silver-gray color, giving it a noble feel. The mini bar is stocked with milk, Oriental Leaf tea, and sugar-free cola, which are healthy and refreshing, and right up my alley.
🌊
Other facilities are also well-equipped, with the gym and laundry room conveniently located on the same floor. The gym, in particular, has a full glass design and a floor-to-ceiling window that lets in plenty of light. It has a full set of dumbbells and all the common fixed equipment, and the TV even plays workout videos, creating a great exercise atmosphere.💪
🌊
Overall, I would give it an 8 out of 10. The remaining two points are because it's a bit far from the subway station, about a 7-8 minute walk, and there were one or two times when the service was not very prompt (perhaps due to a shortage of staff). However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they were open to feedback and suggestions. I hope LOUIS can maintain its unique brand characteristics and continue to improve.🌹
