Hokkaido Sapporo Tourism
There are many things to do in Sapporo, but
this time the cherry blossoms were blooming and beautiful.
I went to Hokkaido Shrine to see the cherry blossoms, so I'll share what it was like.
📍Hokkaido Shrine
📍474 Miyagaoka, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido
→15 minutes walk from Exit 3 of Maruyama Koen Station on the Tozai Subway Line
Hokkaido Shrine is a shrine that represents Hokkaido.
It is located in the center of Sapporo and is a large shrine that is visited not only by Sapporo residents but also by worshippers from all over Hokkaido.
In the precincts, cherry blossoms such as Ezoyamazakura, Somei-yoshino, and Yaezakura are in full bloom,
and there is also a plum grove, which makes a nice contrast with the cherry blossoms.
Of course, there is also an open-air stall for your enjoyment, so foodies can rest assured.
📍Cotton candy 500 yen
📍Fried noodles 500 yen
📍Grilled squid Medium 1400 yen Large 1500 yen
📍Grilled whelk
→ Small: 600 yen, Medium: 700 yen, Large: 800 yen
It's a bit of a walk from Maruyama Koen Station on the subway, but on the way to Hokkaido Shrine,
there is a large park called Maruyama Park,
which is also one of the highlights,
so you'll arrive there while walking around!
