✈️ Sapporo travel day 1: A full day even if you arrive in the afternoon!

Sapporo, full of romance even on a rainy day🌧️

After arriving by afternoon flight, I finished checking in at the hotel, unpacked my luggage, and started exploring downtown Sapporo in earnest!

The weather was cloudy and it rained a little, but I was able to feel the charm of the city with its atmosphere.

🏨 Hotel check-in
Checked in at a hotel near Sapporo Station. The location was good, so it was easy to get anywhere on foot or by subway!
It was a day when ‘walking distance’ was even more important because it was rainy 😅

🗼 Sapporo JR Tower T38 Observatory
The first place I headed to was the Sapporo JR Tower 38th floor observatory (T38)!
The scenery was hazy because it was rainy, but thanks to that atmosphere, I was able to calmly enjoy the city night view. When you visit during the time when the sunset and night view are mixed, the romanticism is doubled💙

📍 Location: Directly connected to JR Sapporo Station
⏰ Operating hours: 10:00~23:00 (Last admission at 22:30)

🌃 Susukino Street Stroll & Photo Time
Susukino Street, a hot place in Sapporo!
The neon signs twinkling on the rainy street were really impressive.
The Sony Building sign, the clock tower, and even the scenery of the tram passing by were all photogenic places📸
I couldn't stop taking pictures.

🍽️ Daruma Lamb for dinner
A real local restaurant that you absolutely must eat at when you come to Sapporo!
I really enjoyed lamb (Genghis Khan) at 'Daruma (成吉思汗 Daruma)'.
The charcoal-grilled lamb with no meaty smell at all and full of the scent of fire was crazy. Perfect day ending with rice and beer👏

📍Daruma

🕖 There's a bit of a wait, but the turnover is fast!

💡 Cash only, the inside is small, so bring minimal belongings
