Lights fill the city | Illuminating the quietest desire in my heart

As the cable car ascended slowly to Mt. Soiwa, the nightscape of Hakodate unfolded like a galaxy. The curve of the harbor shimmered amidst the lights, and the streets stretched quietly into the distance like flowing veins of light.

Standing atop the mountain, a gentle breeze caressed me, and the bustle of the city melted into a gentle tranquility beneath my feet. The world at this moment was free of urgency, only the lights echoing in harmony with my heartbeat.

Some say this is one of the world's three greatest night views; for me, it felt more like a letter to myself—a reminder to pause and take in the beauty of the moment.

Descending, the lights remained, but my heart felt calmer than before. For some lights shine not only in the distance, but also within my heart.
