From October 19 to November 1, 2025, Jiangsu residents can enjoy free access to Qinhu National Wetland Park. The park is located in the northeast suburbs of Taizhou City, featuring vast lake surfaces, crisscrossing waterways, and lush aquatic plants and reeds. Visitors can stroll along wooden boardwalks to experience the tranquility of nature or take a boat ride through the waterways to appreciate the wetland scenery. This area is also home to animals such as milu deer and waterfowl, and it has been the native habitat of milu deer since ancient times. To enter the main scenic area, visitors need to take a scheduled boat from the waiting hall at the entrance; the ticket includes a round trip, with boats departing every 30 minutes and a 15-minute ride to the East Lake Dock. For a faster option, paid speedboats or luxury painted barges are available. After disembarking, visitors can first visit the China Qinhu Wetland Science Museum to learn about wetland ecology. Then, they can either take a boat to explore the winding waterways or walk along the 7.5-kilometer circular route to admire wetland plants, observe animals, and enjoy recreational activities. At the Deer Viewing Platform, you can see milu deer, and families with children can visit the Antler Park to challenge the Brave Path. The route ends at the Waterfowl Garden, where swans and other water birds can be admired. Come to Qinhu and embark on a journey of natural and cultural exploration!
