About a 2-minute walk from Susukino City Tram Station.
Located on the first floor of the Toshimatsu Building, "Torimasu" is a long-established yakitori restaurant founded in 1967.

Based on the concept of "enjoying chicken to the fullest," the restaurant's popular offerings include its specialty "Shinkoyaki" made with Nakasatsunai chicken, as well as carefully grilled skewers.

"Shinkoyaki," a rare dish in Sapporo, is a hearty half-grilled skewers. This restaurant is said to be the origin of the restaurant, and at the time of its founding, the chicken would be butchered on the same day and grilled on custom-made iron skewers.

Today, the third-generation owner has taken over the restaurant's appearance and flavor, reflecting the long history of the restaurant.

The skin is crispy and fragrant, and the meat is plump and juicy. The flavor of the Nakasatsunai chicken is fully plentiful, and the sweet and spicy sauce is exquisitely combined.

Although this is a generously grilled half-chicken, it's not greasy and is a dish you won't tire of until the very end. This is Torimasu's signature dish, showcasing their excellent grilling techniques.

The gizzard has a pleasant crunchy texture and is perfectly seasoned. The meatballs are fluffy and soft, and the sweetness of the sauce and the richness of the egg yolk combine to create a blissful taste.

The white liver is cooked at a low temperature, giving it a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a rich flavor that is easy to eat even for those who don't like liver.

The pickled herring has a refreshing acidity and flavor that goes perfectly with the skewers. All of the dishes were exquisite, and you could tell they were made with care.

The restaurant retains a Showa-era atmosphere, and the warm and welcoming service makes it a comfortable place to go, whether you're drinking alone or having a party with friends.
