Let's visit Fukuoka's power spots

Nanzoin Temple is a power spot located in Sasaguri Town, Fukuoka Prefecture.
It's famous for housing one of the world's largest bronze statues of the Nirvana Buddha.
It certainly is huge!
We even saw tourists from Thailand, a Buddhist country.

The grounds are larger than you'd expect, and in addition to the Nirvana Buddha statue, there are many other attractions, including Daisho Acala, the cedar tree struck by lightning, and the Seven Lucky Gods Tunnel. We were able to see the autumn leaves in early December.

It's not far from Hakata Station, about 30 minutes by JR train (this may be something people from the Kanto region would consider), so be sure to check it out during your trip to Fukuoka.
