Visit Nanzoin Temple | Fukuoka | Japan 🇯🇵
Another landmark that those who believe in superstition must visit is Nanzoin Temple, which has the largest reclining Buddha in the world 🌏. It is said to be as big as the Statue of Liberty 🗽 in the USA. 👍🏻

Let's talk about the temple => This temple is famous for asking for good fortune. Most people come to ask for good fortune in money and gambling 🤭 (For those who believe in superstition, you have to come here!!!)

To get there, take the JR train (Fukuhoku-yutaka Line) and get off at Kido Nanzoin-mae Station. We used the JR Northern Kyushu Pass (3days) bought from the JR website for 11,000¥. When we arrived at the airport, we could exchange the JR Pass at the counter. It was so convenient 😍

We went on January 15, 2025. It looked like it was going to rain at the temple. (When we arrived at the temple, it actually rained) It got even colder 🥶🥶🥶 And if we stayed for another hour, it would snow!
The way to the temple is quite a walk, and we also crossed the Melody Bridge. It was so much fun!

When we reached the entrance of the temple, we walked for a while before we found the Buddha statue. The temple was very large, very shady, with lush trees and a beautiful view. We spent some time praying, taking pictures and buying amulets. After a while, the rain in winter got heavier. We had to take shelter from the rain for a bit. It didn't stop, so we put on a scarf and walked to the train station.

You guys... It's so cold 🥶🥶🥶 555+ I couldn't take it anymore. I had to move to Kumamoto immediately. 😘 That's the end of the review. I hope I win the prize 😇
