Nanzoin Temple, the Great Buddha of Fukuoka

📌Nanzoin Temple (南蔵院)
Located in Sasaguri City, Fukuoka Prefecture, it is nestled in the midst of nature, surrounded by trees and mountains. Inside the temple is the largest bronze reclining Buddha statue in the world, and is recognized as one of the most important and historically valuable Buddhist sculptures. This is a must-see landmark.

📌Train travel: From Hakata Station, take the Fukuhokuyutaka Line at Hakata Station to Kidonazoin-Mae Station, a distance of about 15 kilometers and a travel time of about 30 minutes. The station is located within the grounds of Nanzoin Temple.
