In the middle of the bay is a small island called Koh Kai Tia, a staghorn coral conservation area. This beach is called Hat Toey Ngam because it is lined with numerous sea pandanus trees. It's also a perfect place for relaxing by the sea, with its long stretch of white sand and crystal-clear water, and the surrounding natural beauty.
Hat Toey Ngam is managed by the Royal Thai Marine Corps Headquarters, which maintains the beach's cleanliness and orderliness. It also provides essential tourist facilities, including restaurants and restrooms. There's also a tourist center available for assistance with accommodation and inquiries. Not far from the beach is a viewpoint offering a bird's-eye view of Hat Toey Ngam, Khao Laem Pu Chao. Above, there is a shrine to His Royal Highness Prince of Chumphon, revered by all naval officers.
